(because one ending implies that Estella and Pip would stay together and the other has they part on good terms and indicates they won't stay together, and the second one is the original ending Dickens wrote but he also wrote the other one and lots of other authors had big arguments about which is a better ending xDD personally I love both of them and I couldn't decide which I prefer)
